"Mandatory valet and construction"

Heavy construction at the building next door. Meaning any pool you pick and any room facing that side you will be hearing the drilling and grinding of construction. The staff is super friendly and professional and I know it’s not their fault and they apologized for the inconvenience but hilton should warn people before letting people book a hotel with major construction. Also something they don’t warn us about is mandatory valet which becomes a pain because they only have 1 person grabbing the vehicles for everyone in the hotel so expect 20-40 mins wait for your car.

The good: The staff are amazing and go the extra mile and always with a smile. The food was really good, better than most restaurants, and affordable. The bad: there is only one working elevator and the rumor was the second one has been out of service for a year or more. Wait times for the elevator is 20 minutes plus, it was always packed, and this has to be a safety issue in an emergency. We were there for three nights and never saw any repair person working on the issue. I will be going to Miami regularly and will not stay there again.

I have been staying in this hotel since it was opened. I always had a great experience. This year was really bad. I was very disappointed. Here are my comments: - I arrived around 9:30 pm, and no one was at the reception. I had to wait for over 15 minutes. - They gave me a room where the bed was making noises-it was broken. - There was no shower gel - Only one of the two main elevators is working. I had to wait longer to get to my room. The third elevator was at the end of the hotel. - I usually get any number of towels I need for the beach. This time, they gave me cards to get no more than two towels. I found out later that it really does not matter. They did not even ask me about those cards. So what is the purpose of these cards?

Only one lift,bought a small pizza and half a pint of Stella cost almost 40 dollars actually got a 7 dollar service charge for bringing it 4 feet, Apart from a couple of staff the other staff appear to hate the fact that you are there and when I questioned my bill the waitress just said “ yeah yeah yeah. Didn’t care less. In my experience I would never stay there again and I would never recommend it
