I live on the Island, but I just spent 7 days at a bridge tournament at this hotel. The location is ideal, although I did not stay in the rooms. For lunch, the hotel offered sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs, self serve style, the same offerings for all 7 days. I had a burger one day and a sandwich on another. The burger was served at room temperature, and the bun was stale. The bread for the sandwich was also stale. Today, the 7th day, the ballroom was so cold, that a majority of participants played bridge all day with their winter coats on (it was cold outside by Hilton Head standards). Some people even brought blankets from their room for their legs. I saw no apologies from the hotel for the temperature in the room. My guess is that it was in the low 60's (I keep my house at 68). The bathroom was exceptionally cold, even with my winter coat on. One day we played bridge in a meeting room on the lower level, and the toilets in the ladies room were very low to the ground, (like a kiddie toilet?). But the worst was the stench of marijuana in the ballroom and in the hallway all day today Feb 1, 2026. It was very strong and noxious. I was there from 9:30-5:30 today and smelled it as soon as I arrived and it was still strong when I left.

Cynthia is a GEM and great asset to Hilton she went above and beyond. She was very pleasant, her customer service has helped to restore my faith in an industry where it was seriously lacking. Kudos!!!!!!!

Enjoyed our spacious and functionally good Ocean front room. Everything worked We were not expecting fancy frills and chose not to take served meals in the restaurant Beachside location was good and despite the cold weather, we took several pleasant walks

We met David, our waiter at the Blue. He was extremely friendly and was very experienced. He made our dinner wonderful. He has been in Hilton head for 50 years and gave us lots of information. He could not have been better!
