"Disappointed! Below the usual Hampton Inn standards"

I’ve stayed in this hotel chain before and was always satisfied, but this stay was disappointing. I booked a suite based on the photos and description showing a small sofa, but there was none in the room. The front desk first said they might change our room, then later told me it wasn’t possible and they couldn’t add a sofa either. Worse, we found a bag of dirty baby diapers on the balcony. I reported it in the morning... it was still there when we came back at night. Not what I expected from a hotel of this standard.

"Liked the room, not the breakfast"

Booked a suite as an alternative to finding an AirBnB because it’s nice to have space to spread out. The suite was generously-sized, well-equipped, comfortable and clean. We were on the third floor and there was a little traffic noise, but nothing too bad. We did have a problem with a strong aroma of spicy food in our room, strongest in the closet, which got into our clothes. We asked Housekeeping to deal with it and it got better but didn’t disappear. For me one of the attractions of a Hampton Inn has always been the breakfast. Breakfast at this Hampton was very disappointing. Fruit juice was very weak, minimal selection of healthy options, and mediocre hot food. I will say a word on the location. If you need to be in the Lake Union, Lower Queen Anne, or Space Needle areas, this is a good spot to stay. All are within walkable distances, and the area felt safe to us.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the breakfast was underwhelming. The biggest gripe is when my girlfriend forgot her cell phone in the bathroom. We called to confirm it was still at the hotel and were told to submit it on Ileftmystuff and they would get back to us. Did so as soon as we got home and didn't hear from them so called back to find out the status. Was told they would process the claim on Ileftmystuff and then get back to us. Still no word or email until the next day and the email from Ileftmystuff said that the item wasn't found, even though we had confirmed twice that it was. Rather than waiting for the hotel to get its act together and ship her phone, my girlfriend traveled 7 hours there and 7 hours back to retrieve her phone. We were not happy at all with how neglectful the hotel was at handling the situation promptly. Make sure you triple check that you have all your belongings before you leave, because this hotel can't be relied on to get it back to you in a prompt manner!

We came for the weekend to attend the Kraken game. Wanted a reasonability priced hotel with parking and breakfast. Also wanted one within walking distance of the Climate Pledge Arena. The Hampton provided all these things! Hotel was a 15 minute walk away. QFC was a block south and other interesting shops and restaurants nearby. Hampton Inn was clean and rooms comfortably appointed with refrigerator, and microwave. Comfortable beds, and bedding. Clerks friendly and efficient. Usual breakfast o

"Good location, nice hotel, unreliable parking"

My favorite aspect of the hotel is its location. It's one long block from the Space Needle, museums, and monorail (to downtown). It is off an I-5 exit and 99 if traveling by car. It's also easily walkable to downtown sights (Pike Place Market, e.g.) in 15-20 minutes. The area seems very safe. There is a supermarket across the street and there are several buses / transit options that run past the hotel. The room was nice, clean. Housekeeping and front desk staff were great. WiFi worked well and the breakfast was good (but coffee was blah esp by Hampton standards). Price was good during the off-season. The fridge and microwave worked well. The hotel has paid self-park, but the lot may fill up. When we came back to the hotel after a long day, we were unpleasantly surprised that parking was unavailable. All in all, the hotel is nice, but just beware that even if you pay the expensive Seattle parking, it doesn't mean you'll get it.
