Brandi and Lauren were Amazing!! They both went above and beyond to help me locate my cellular device. Helping me to login from one of the business computers to locate the location of the missing device and also actually tracking it down and finding it and providing to me in hand. You don’t always get that type of personalized customer service and I am greatly appreciative. Please let the ladies know their services are not unnoticed and what they did for me was greatly appreciated!!! I’ll definitely be back solely because of them‼️

We booked the hotel for our Anniversary trip , it was nothing but disappointment. First night we got there it was a little chilly so we called the front desk and asked for extra blankets the response was that they didn’t have any left . The next day on the way back from our outing we stopped by the front the desk and asked for blankets and this was early afternoon. We were told that it was going to be sent to the room - an hour later we called the front desk and asked again same response , another hour passed we called again and asked AGAIN it was absolutely ridiculous and then they showed up with a sheet not a blanket . The next day we decided to go enjoy the rooftop since we are in the hotel and we see a lot people coming for it - my husband and I decided to go and have a drink and appetizer. The hostess was rude and sat on a corner table telling us that they are all book mind you this is Sunday .we decided to leave and go to another roof top . We couldn’t even enjoy the hotel amenities because the staff didn’t care about the hotel guests. They literally ruined our stay and were very nonchalant about the client service , some of them seem to be in the wrong industry. This will be the last time we will stay in this place , save yourself time and money and look for another location

Beautiful hotel in great location. Excellent service, particularly Hugo and Valeria at the front desk. The rooms are comfortable, the rooftop bar is nice, and everything was clean and well kept. I certainly would stay again on another trip to Chicago!

"Severely disappointed"

Very underwhelmed by our stay here. There were a lot of contributing factors ranging from a very lackluster check-in experience, and lobby all the way up to our room and overall experience. Check-in wasn’t bad by any means but there was no one else checking in or waiting to be received by the attendant, and they really gave a “meh” impression. I don’t expect a red carpet roll out but if I can get a better experience from a Best Western, that’s kind of a problem. We proceeded up to our room which was a king suite, and it was… bland. Mismatched furniture with no theme. End table was damaged and unsightly, and there were no conveniently located outlets for device charging. Another weird thing I have never seen before was a separation between the mattress and wall mounted headboard. Pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and the bed made a thunderous crack sound when I first laid down, weighing all of 150lbs. The worst offense regarding the stay itself was how dry the hotel was. Both my partner and I woke up at about 6am with super dry nasal passages and sore throats, which for me personally lingered a few days. Service at the rooftop bar wasn’t much better. Sat at the bar on a Monday with 2 people behind and a few servers and took over 5 minutes to even be greeted. Once greeted we did place a cocktail order that was prompt but the lack of attention compared to other patrons, virtually none, was disappointing. For a hotel that bills itself as upscale I was severely let down. I have had better suites at places like Double Tree, and better service from significantly lesser billed establishments. I’m sure our experience varies from others but we will not return, and I can’t in good conscious recommend The Godfrey.

had a wonderful stay at The Godfrey, and I have to give a special shoutout to Valeria and Hugo for making my experience truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, they were both incredibly welcoming, ensuring I felt right at home. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, offering exceptional service with a warm and friendly attitude that made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is fantastic, but Valeria and Hugo’s dedication and attentiveness really set the bar high. Their efforts truly made a difference in making my time at The Godfrey comfortable and memorable. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to staying again soon!”
