"Perfectly serviceable budget option for central Florida stay."

Outstanding location for a trip to central Florida whether for theme parks or sports. Housekeeping friendly and professional, complimentary breakfast is OK for a few days but not a three week trip. Gym is perfectly serviceable. Let down by a water leak that resulted in a change of hotel on the last day (although change was smooth).

"Complaint Regarding Vehicle Towing Due to Inadequate Parking Instructions"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed December 22, 2025 NEW
My family and I checked into the Marriott hotel on December 13, 2025, for a four-night stay. During the evening check-in process, the hotel clerk provided us with a parking ticket and stated, “This is a ticket for parking in the lot, but you do not need to bring it out now—just when you have time.” Based on this explanation, it sounded as though the ticket did not need to be immediately displayed in the vehicle window. In the morning, as we were preparing to leave for a planned full day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we encountered another couple staying at the same hotel who informed us that their vehicle had been towed overnight. They explained that the evening clerk had not instructed them that the parking ticket needed to be placed visibly in the car window. Concerned, we went outside to check our own vehicle, only to discover that our car had also been towed. Needless to say, the day we had planned at Disney was significantly disrupted. We had intended to spend the entire day at the park, from 9:00 a.m. until closing. Instead, due to dealing with the towing situation, we were unable to enter the park until approximately 1:00 p.m., resulting in the loss of over four hours of park time. We flew from California specifically to enjoy time at Walt Disney World, only to have our vacation negatively impacted by having our car towed from the hotel’s parking lot. It is also important to note that we parked in the rear of the hotel parking area, not in the front near the various storefronts, as we understood that area to be designated for hotel guests. The hotel clerk should have been clear and directive when informing us—and the other couples who were also towed—that a parking ticket or notice needed to be visibly displayed in the vehicle. Had clear instructions been provided, I firmly believe our vehicle would not have been towed. When we later arrived at the tow yard, we encountered yet another couple staying at the same Marriott location whose vehicle had been towed under similar circumstances. They stated that upon their arrival, the hotel clerk never provided them with a parking ticket at all. This pattern strongly suggests a lack of clear and consistent communication from hotel staff regarding parking requirements, which directly resulted in multiple guests’ vehicles being towed unnecessarily.

"Convenient location, good value for the price"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

I recently stayed at the Fairfield and SpringHill locations in the Marriott Village while visiting Disney. Between the two properties, I personally liked the Fairfield better and would keep it in mind for future trips to the area if the price remains competitive. I was able to book a pool view guest room directly with Marriott for a AAA rate of $77, including all taxes and fees - the best Marriott deal in the area. The property was older but featured a somewhat newer, mid-’10s Fairfield design. It was clear that the furniture was quite a bit newer than the fixtures in the room I had next door at the SpringHill. The room as a whole was clean and comfortable, a great value considering the price point; the bathroom layout was a bit dated, but functional nonetheless. The front desk agents were consistently friendly and helpful, especially Simon and Collin. The two things that may benefit from improvement were breakfast and billing. The furniture in the breakfast area was visibly worn and could stand to be replaced. The breakfast offerings overall were okay, though it’s worth noting the property has a relatively small number of Mickey waffle makers for its high volume of travelers (four, with most making just one waffle at a time; the SpringHill next door had double this amount). During breakfast, I found it off-putting that a Marriott Vacation Club (timeshare) representative was walking around the dining room and talking to couples in the middle of breakfast. When reviewing my bill before checking out, I noticed I was charged a parking fee despite not having a vehicle. Make sure to check your bill before leaving - this seems to apply to the Marriott Village as a whole, as I also had billing issues on my invoice from the SpringHill.

"Decent enough stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed October 18, 2025
Stayed here for 2 weeks during our recent family holiday to Disneyworld. First of all, it’s in a fantastic location to visit Disney, about 10 minutes drive and there is a large car park so you don’t have any trouble finding a car space. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful at breakfast and it’s spotless. The man who served us in the snack bar was also very friendly and nice. The pool area is nice and clean, my little boy enjoyed spending time here. The only negative for me really, the room is a bit dated, there’s no great options to try and dry clothes and the shower was really poor. The shower head water flow was really weak and the bath tub was slippy and a bit grotty. It’s a decent enough hotel, great for base if going to Disney.
