When we go to Lego Land and look to enjoy the beach, the Fairfield Inn and Suites San Diego Carlsbad is our first go to spot. The rooms, food, and location are great, but it’s the people that have be coming back. Elena, thank you for always going above and beyond. Very pleased from the initial welcome to the friendly departure. The room was beautiful, clean & had everything my family of 4 needed. Breakfast was so yummy. Great variety & different choice daily. My family really enjoyed giant janga and connect four in their court yard. The GM Michael Glick was awesome, you can tell he really cares & is there to make your vacation special!! This hotel is so close to many theme parks which made our trip so convenient.

I arrived late at night. Debbie was the front desk attendant. She was very friendly and helpful without me having to ask. I did ask for a late checkout though. She asked when would I like to checkout, and I replied 1300...she replied, "how about 1400?" SCORE!! She also gave me a choice of floors to be on and if I thought I would need ice..the ice was a big affirmative for my sore muscles etc. She put me on the first floor on the side with the ice machine... Is that too thoughtful or what?? I don't think anybody has ever mentioned where the ice machine was in all my years...and she was considerate enough not to just ask, but to put me close to it!!! Seems small, but it's the little things that can really make a difference...I hope Marriott treats this lady well...The breakfast was terrific, house keeping staff very attentive and friendly. This is definitely a stay again place for me...
