I'm only writing this because Steve A. (the supervisor downstairs during breakfast) was so kind and helpful. The omelette station made that an excellent breakfast offering btw. The hotel overall is nice. Great location and I was happy to have a exercise room. Whoever has the authority to do so, PLEASE replace the exercise mat in there. The one there now has provided a great service but is begging to be retired. I ended up getting a meal at the hotel restaurant Taste and the mini tostada dish was excellent. The fish entree, not bad. Priced accordingly for this area (high). I don't have anything bad to say about the place. Our room is nice, every employee I've talked to has been pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

Everything was excellent from the moment I pulled up to the entrance, the experience was seamless and stress-free. Eric from the valet team was incredibly professional and welcoming. He greeted me with warm smiles and immediately offered assistance with my luggage. His attentiveness made me feel valued as a customer, which is something I truly appreciate. Despite being a busy day, the valet staff managed the flow of cars smoothly, ensuring that I didn't have to wait long. What stood out the most was his attention to detail. Eric remembered my name and vehicle, which added a personal touch to the service. It's these little things that make a big difference and create a memorable experience for customers!

We decided to do a little mini stay vacation in Florida and state at the Embassy suites downtown. The hotel was very clean. Steve and the staff in the restaurant. Kitchen for breakfast were amazing. One of the most efficiently ran breakfast buffets we’ve been to at an embassy. The pool was not currently operational, which is a bummer but other than that the hotel was great

Cons: The hotel daily/nightly rate does NOT match the condition of this hotel, at all. It's unsightly and I wouldve NEVER booked here,had I known. The water fountain outside was inoperable. Once you come in, there's mold around all of the vents. Holes in the ceiling, and stains from multiple leaks. Both elevators were disgusting, with fingerprints, food particles, and an unknown substance that has been left dripping down the glass. The pool and pool area was draped in plastic and closed to the public. Also, I chose a room on the 19th floor, hoping to avoid outside noise. It still seemed like we were on the ground level...One ply windows, I guess. Marriott is right across the street and the same price, without breakfast...and looks amazing. I wouldve canceled and changed hotels, had they been able to accommodate me at the last minute. Note: I was told that the room rate would be adjusted for the first night, by Steven. I was there for 3 days. Upon check out, I was still charged full price ( $350+ ) for each night and only received free parking. Pros: The location is great, and in close proximity to the Riverwalk, several restaurant choices, Aquarium, etc. Walking distance, actually. The faculty was really nice, understanding and accommodating. I wouldn't stay here again, but I dont have anything negative to say about the staff. They were all amazing.

The breakfast omelette was delicious as always and the front desk staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Mabel made sure our plates were cleared quickly with a warm smile. We always love staying at Embassy Suites and will definitely stay here again when we are in Tampa.
