Mixed Experience at Embassy Suites Austin My recent stay at the Embassy Suites in Austin was a blend of highs and lows. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find the front desk staff engaged in personal conversation, delaying any acknowledgment of my presence. It set a tone that made me feel less than valued as a guest. The hotel itself is in need of a refresh. The room furnishings showed noticeable wear, and cleanliness was lacking—dust had accumulated around the bathroom hair dryer, and the toilet ran continuously throughout my stay. On the positive side, the location is excellent. Austin’s walkability and the room’s skyline views added a nice touch to the experience. Parking is secure in a ramp, though the cost felt steep. The standout feature was the Manager’s Reception. The staff during this event were attentive and welcoming, the atmosphere was lively, and the appetizers exceeded my expectations—better than what I’ve experienced at other Embassy Suites locations. The breakfast buffet also impressed with a wide selection and tasty options.

Shower faucet fell of, curtains where ripped and dirty, the hook behind the bathroom door fell off too, bathroom was disgustingly dirty , old hair! Mold around the sink ….worst maintenance I’ve ever seen in a Hilton chain .

I had a great experience interacting with Natalie. She was approachable, courteous, and conducted herself with the utmost professionalism. Her thorough knowledge of what Embassy Suites by Hilton offers-along with current promotions and various locations-was both impressive and helpful. Natalie is truly an asset to the Hilton brand, and I would highly recommend that the company continue to hire and retain team members of her caliber.

Diamond, Seth, (front desk) Natalie (Hilton Honors) and the kitchen staff Stacey Wade (Eggs Your Way) were lovely! Breakfast was delicious! Beautifully displayed! However, the Hilton Honors is a sexist and misogynistic company. They expect a married woman to have her husband with her if she comes to a timeshare. Married women are independent and can purchase timeshares by themselves. We do not have to have anybody with us to look at timeshare. We should be able to bring a friend or adult child with us. This policy is offensive! The hotel is in a great location. The Yeti store/bar across the street is worth dealing with the difficult and loooooong pedestrian crossing situation. The BATS are within a five minute walk. AMAZING. The hotel is old and in need of repairs. Our bar sink was broken with no note on it. When I asked about it I got attitude. Our tissue (Kleenex) ran out. We had no conditioner. There’s no way to know it’s empty until it’s too late. The carpeting is kitchy…but ancient. Overall I DID like the place. But we won’t be back.
