Came to San Antonio to visit some family friends and stayed at Drury. Was worried about parking with downtown limitations but valet at Drury was super helpful. Valet member Brandon was kind and would open my door. Overall great stay. Downtown best location.

In general, we liked the hotel. Can we give it 4 1/2 stars? It’s a beautiful old 1929 bank building that’s been converted into a hotel. The lobby area has been lovingly restored and it’s really grand. All food services on the mezzanine overlooking the grand lobby. The breakfast was a little above the usual chain hotel breakfast. But it was especially nice to have an evening with drinks and a main course that can easily serve dinner. The pluses are especially the dinner and cocktails each evening. The the rooftop pool is also lovely, well heated, and has a wonderful view of the city. In fact, you can easily view and hear the light show at the Neighboring Cathedral every evening at nine. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially at the front desk and dining room. The only negative is the room. The space was fine, the bathroom was remodeled, but it still really does need to be updated. But with all the other good things about the hotel, it still was a very, very pleasant stay.

The Drury does not disappoint! The staff was so helpful, from the front desk making sure our senior citizen parent had a room near us, to Brian giving us tourist tips as he cleared our breakfast dishes. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor rooftop pool, and spent a lovely afternoon on the terrace overlooking the nearby cathedral. We love staying at the Drury. Also, you just can't beat their happy hour!
