Without a doubt the worst Drury, or any hotel for that matter, that we’ve ever stayed in. We chose this hotel because we’ve always had good experiences with Drury and the reviews were good. This hotel is the Walmart of all hotels. All kinds of trashy people stayed here when we were here, people running up/down the halls yelling and screaming at all hours of the night (no, they were NOT kids!) the hallways on the nonsmoking floor stunk of cigarette smoke, the showers had barely any water pressure and the whole thing let out a loud moan whenever you tried to change the temperature. The breakfast was mediocre at best and the 5:30pm kickback was almost inedible. They put out so little food to begin with that they ran out almost immediately and took forever to refill anything. The room was HOT, and it took HOURS to cool it down! Definitely would not recommend anything about this hotel. Will never stay here again

We made the mistake of staying here twice. The first stay, we found a piece of jewelry on the floor and took it to the front desk, who seemed unfazed. Thought maybe it was a fluke. Second stay, we walked into the bathroom with bare feet and stepped all over filth. It was obviously dirt/mud/pieces of poop from a pet. It was strewn around the carpet too. I checked our shoes. They were clean. I collected a bunch of it, put it in a baggie and took it to the front desk. They said, oh, its not poop. It's just mud and they'd "retrain" the housekeeper and send us a coupon. They completely missed the point that it is unacceptable to charge $171 for a filthy room. Who knows if the sheets were even changed??? And why would i stay at a Drury Inn again? Gross. I emailed corporate, who didnt respond at all.

After driving 10+ hours, it was such a pleasure to be greeted by a kind and professional man at the front desk. Our stay just got better from there. It was nice to be able to find a bite to eat, after a long day, in the lobby area. We had two dogs with us and we were placed in a room with easy access to outside. The hotel is in a location that walks can be taken safely. Our room had been prepared by Felicia and it was very clean. Overall, this was an incredible find. We will return!

Always a pleasure to stay here. The staff are always wonderful and the rooms are very clean. They also have nice amenities, such as their daily complementary breakfast, evening snacks and happy hour. Also a great value for the price. Would highly recommend.

The staff is super friendly. The check-in process was exceptional and very efficient. We enjoyed the pool and spa area. My kids and I thought that it was really cool to be able to swim under a partition to the outside portion of the pool, and then back under to the inside portion. The popcorn in the afternoon was very tasty and the food/beverage staff were lovely. It was such a tremendous bonus to have a meal at the hotel after a busy afternoon at Carowinds. We can't wait to go back!!
