DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort in North Miami Beach, FL

Location may not be everything in booking , but it’s at the top of my list when planning a beach vacation! And the Hilton Ocean View, Miami delivered!!! Steps to the beach was actually Steps to the sand! Stopped at the “beach hut” and was delivered amazing care each day from the young men working there. They collected up our towels and led us to our complimentary beach chairs ( 2 per room) paid $10 for 1 extra chair) tucked in our towels, got us an extra little drink table and our day in the sun began! Check in- we had selected our rooms on- line. But we’re informed that’s not guaranteed. That was a little disappointing as we had 2 rooms. The girl who checked us in really needs a different hotel position as first impressions make a huge impression on any hotel. I did chat with customer service/ manager and u felt her apologies were sincere. Gift bag with water & Warm Cookies, yes! I ate waiting on elevator! Our room was a queen with balcony, on side but you did have an ocean view, and the sound of waves amazing. Small table with 2 chairs. Room was clean , plenty of towels, liquid soaps/shampoo/conditioner/ lotion. Lobby and outdoor seating upstairs is beautiful, plenty of seating in and out. Some updates needed , and outdoor construction was happening. Ground floor has coffee shop/snack shop and necessities. The pool area was spotless, plenty of chairs and 2 hot tubs. We laid our damp towels near hot tub and a young man picked them up and brought us a fresh folded towel without us asking. The outdoor service was excellent from bar, to towels, & chairs. Walking distance to everything you need! Starbucks, CVS, bagels, icecream, restaurants , shopping. Easy Uber ride to South Beach Art Deco area. And Little Havana, plan a day there! We would return to The Hilton Ocean View- Miami. Overall a lovely & safe hotel. Older, yet kept up well. The staff service elevator was not working so that did cause the guest elevators to sometimes be a longer wait. We were on floor 23, beautiful partial views of ocean and city from balcony.

Was told complimentary breakfast. Haha. Not available. Rooms are very small and have 2 double beds not 2 queens. They give you towels for the beach and 2 chairs but if you want an umbrella for shade , that’s extra . Price was over 750 for 2 nights . I suggest you look elsewhere

This hotel is quite literally my home away from home. The rooms are spacious & clean & newly renovated. The standout is definitely the amazing staff particularly Maylen. She is not only the sweetest but takes any concerns you may have very seriously & makes sure you are happy & taken care of. I am going back with my husband again in two weeks & look forward to spending New Years Eve there! 10/10

Wow is all I am going to say .maylen at the front desk. Exceptional. I will come back for her and her only. The accomodations she did . The smile she has . Wow . Also Zay the beach attendant with the killer sunglasses. A good man. Helped me carry my kids when the sand was too hot and helped carry my sister's bag while she was carrying her newborn . The amazing manager that helped me settle with the kids at the beach side. Best resort I have ever been too 6 days filled with nothing but great service.
