DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Niagara Falls New York in Niagara Falls, NY

Check your bill if staying here. Had to argue over obvious items. Initially they didn't see the charge on the bill that was in error.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this DoubleTree hotel! I’ve traveled for business my entire professional career. I was always drawn to DoubleTree Hotels but the last few years some of the DT hotels I stayed in had changed, not quite the original DT Hotel charm I had always made a point staying with. Maybe some hotels shouldn’t change their original style, amenities and benefits just trying to be more current or faddish. This location is fabulous and everything that travelers had grown to love down through the years. From the moment I entered the lobby I was taken back in time to an original upscale hotel I had always stayed in, and grew to love. The smell of their famous fresh baked chocolate chip cookies was drifting through the air, and bagged and ready for my trip up to my hotel room. The front desk checked me and my family in with friendly professionalism and had us on our way in only minutes. Once in our room, the room was lit and smelled freshly detailed. I hate a dark room when I open my hotel room door. When I approached the dining table to lay my keys down I was blown away by the fantastic view of part of Niagara. The landscaping was well groomed and a patio area to sit and enjoy the view. Our travels brought us to Niagra for a family reunion/wedding. So knowing the area with chairs and tables was another great amenity. Let me quickly mention the Ballroom were our family meet and greet was held was nicely arranged and detailed. Food was good and served hot. We also had a bar set up available there. Service was above average and again friendly. Our morning breakfast in the restaurant was represented well with a large selection of menu items. Buffet or order off their menu items. Quick site seeing tours were easily accessible in their lobby! This was not expected! When we return from dinner at the famous Buffalo Wing Restaurant, Anchor, we decided to have a nightcap in the lounge and enjoy live music entertainment. Our other family members joined us for more catching up and a wonderful time was had by all. If you are looking for a weekend getaway or traveling on business I highly recommend this clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel hole heartily.

A very positive experience at the Doubletree in Niagara Falls. Location: Absolutely perfect. You can walk to the falls, casino, and all the main attractions in just a few minutes. Room: Our room was comfortable, modern, and seemed to be recently renovated. Amenities: The lobby bar was very popular and had a great energy. The on-site restaurant was good and convenient, though not spectacular. Service: The service was fine throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a convenient and comfortable base for their trip.

What an awesome hotel, from the front desk, staff to the dining area and even the maintenance staff. This is probably the best Double Tree we have ever stayed at.

Our daughters special wedding day was BEAUTIFUL!! THANK U TO ALL THE STAFF WHO WENT ABOVE & BEYOND THEIR CALL OF DUTIES!! THE WEDDING PLANNERS RIHANNA & MELISSA WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL!! THANK U FOR BEING SO HELPFUL!! THEY DESERVE A RAISE. THE DECOR WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! THE WEDDING DINNER SEEMED RUSHED, BUT FOOD WAS GOOD & VERY FRESH!! SERVERS WERE QUICK AT WANTING TO REMOVE PEOPLE'S MEALS, & TAKE AWAY THE TWO BOTTLES OF WINE FOR EACH TABLE THAT WERE INCLUDED IN THE WEDDING PACKAGE. HOPEFULLY BRIDE & GROOM GET SOME SORT OF CREDIT. HOUSEKEEPING OBVIOUSLY WORKS VERY HARD TOO. THE PARENTS OF THE BRIDE'S ROOM WAS PERFECT & COMFORTABLE!! VIEW WAS AMAZING!! WE PACKED OUR AIR PURIFIER AND DIFUSSERS AS YOU CANNOT OPEN WINDOWS FOR FRESH AIR & THE HOTEL DOES NEED ALITTLE REFRESH ESPECIALLY THE RUGS. KINDA MUSTY!!
