"Outstanding Experience"

Our stay was outstanding! The staff, from the front desk to the waitstaff in the restaurant, was very attentive and courteous. Our room was clean and well appointed with beautiful views. We ate in The Lure restaurant several times, and the food was delicious and not over priced. We walked or took advantage of water taxis to get around the city. We highly recommend!

"Amazing View. Comfortable & Clean. Convenient."

Enjoyed a few lovely nights here overlooking the inner bay. Our room was spacious and clean. Our outlook over the bay was amazing. Very pretty with water taxis bobbing around, ferries coming and going and float planes taking off and landing. We could also open the windows in order to take in the fresh air. Staff were relaxed, welcoming and helpful. Location-wise it was fine. An easy stroll over a small bridge took you straight into town. Victoria is a walking town with lots to see and do. There’s a water taxi stop at the hotel, but walking was very easy for us. Dining at the hotel was good. There’s also lots of interesting restaurants and bars just over the bridge and along the boardwalk. Would certainly recommend the Ocean Pointe Resort to friends.

"Great view but needs updating"

I chose this hotel because I was able to use credit card points. It has a great location, the staff was super-nice, and we enjoyed a gorgeous view of Victoria Harbour from our room. The window cranked open a few inches so we could breathe a bit of the crisp cool air. The room was spacious & beds were comfortable. Beyond that, however, it could really use some updates & extras, such as a grab bar for climbing in and out of the tub/shower (or better yet, a walk-in shower with a real shower door instead of a flimsy curtain), a few toiletry items like shower caps, some cutlery for consuming take-out, a better coffeemaker (like Nespresso), a small microwave, a safe in the room, etc. Frequent travelers have come to expect such amenities.

"Superb hotel"

Fantastic location. Easy access to the town, with a Harbour taxi stop right outside. Short walk to town in any case. Spacious and ample parking. Room was very comfortable for four (we travelled with two of our adult children). Sumptious beds and a spacious bathroom. Good water view from the room. During our stay we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel’s restaurant (all on different days). The food was excellent each time, and the service efficient and friendly. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again.
