First I want to give a shout out to the Bartender, Heber!! He is awesome. There were two very rude loud men at the Bar and he served them without a hint of aggravation. Also, I was alone so he made sure I was taken care of. He is a definite asset to this hotel!! And, the shrimp and bowtie pasta was excellent! I enjoyed dining at the Bar. Now for the not so great...Upon arrival no one was at the Front Desk. Felt that was unusual but they came out rather quickly. I was given a voucher for either 2 beers or 2 wines. However, as an IHG honor member, I was NOT given any bottles of water as they are for sale. First time at an IHG hotel no water bottles complimentary anywhere. Not at check in or in the room. Fortunately I had a couple in my car so I brought them up to my room. The hotel should skip the free drinks and give two bottles of complimentary water instead. I witnessed what happens with those two free beers. No tips, no extended stay at the bar. Two beers and gone. The hotel is gaining nothing by offering those. I didnt stay here because of any offer of free alcohol. That's a waste of money. Give water instead! Hotel was very clean. I didnt use the amenities as I was just here for one night. Again, Heber was the highlight of my visit! He deserves a pat on the back for his diplomacy in dealing with rude customers!

The staff at this property are compassionate and attentive…. I stayed here during an event where the property was bought out, both elevators broke down during the weekend (likely due to the elevators being overloaded by patrons). The staff received some unpleasant customers but they remained positive and helpful while trying to assist. The property itself is a little old and dated, but it’s clean and well maintained. The staff make up for it being an older feeling property. Great location, easy access to WDW and I4 for Universal and Seaworld.

We held an event at the Crowne Plaza over the weekend of May 29-June 2, 2025. We had an issue with the elevators going out, not the Crowne Plaza's fault, and they had the elevator company on-site within less than 2 hours and they stayed until issue was resolved. The staff was cool, calm and very accommodating to the guests needs.

Came to this hotel for an event weekend only to have it ruined by the elevators breaking and the hotel doing minimal efforts to get them repaired properly. If you have any mobility issues, avoid this hotel and it's decayed elevator system. Breakfast buffet was cold and rather inedible.

Thank you for making our vacation such a success! We had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the location of our room gave us the view of the fireworks at night! (Thank you Theresa)!! It was wonderful..! But, Best of all was the efficient and friendly staff! Theresa, Donna, Peter, the evening maintenance man..! And EVERYONE else!
