Hotel was great! Staff was wonderful! Easy access to the park and great food entertainment close to the hotel. Price was fair and rooms were clean. Kids loved the pool and the free breakfast. We will stay again! If you are looking for a great price with great location for a visit to Carowinds this is the place!

Our recent stay at Comfort Inn Fort Mill (Amusement Park Area) was fantastic from start to finish! If you're planning a trip to Carowinds or just passing through the Charlotte/Fort Mill area, this hotel is an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable — just minutes from the Carowinds entrance, with easy access to I-77 and plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is very well-maintained. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. Check-in was smooth, and we were in our room within minutes.

The bed was nice and comfortable. However there was a stale smell in the room. There could be more outlets in your rooms. The location to Charlotte airport is convenient. I’m not sure what else to say. The lady at the front desk was very professional and attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions.

12MAY25: The best part was it was quiet enough to sleep 8 hrs then get back on the road @5am. The room was dirty & stale smelling. There were foundation cracks over the window and the white shear curtains were so dirty they looked as if they've been there the ENTIRE hotels life! We stood (because the lobby furniture was disgustingly dirty,) in line for 40 min while 1 AMAZINGINGLY SLOW lady at the desk was helping a crew of construction workers w/reservation & job payment issues, until a gentleman started his 5pm shift & finally called us next! There were people hanging out AND SLEEPING in their cars, smoking right AT the doors, filling the inside areas with weed & cig smoke, anyway! See pix
