Coast Burbank Hotel

The Coast Burbank has been recently sold and the owners/management have cut many corners. The hotel lobby, elevator that wasn't vacuumed for three days, dented metal trash can with vomit on it sat for three days by the elevator on the second floor. The room had a huge stain in the carpet, filthy windows, and so much noise from the street below constantly with drag racers in the night. No insulation at all. We went to the "restaurant" to get two coffees and two English muffins. Only one other couple in there and it took 20 minutes and charged us $6.00 for each English Muffin and $6.00 for one cup of coffee, so $24.00! Overall, it was dated, dirty and for $215.00 a night, a big rip off. They need to take more care in their hotel or no one will come back.

My son & I are here right now- we traveled here from SC so we are a very long way from home. The shuttle picked us up from the airport and that was a good experience. BUT- We got to the hotel around 1pm and we had to wait until 3 pm to get into our room. The “shuttle” wasn’t available to take us anywhere so we tried walking but there in not much around. It’s 1.5 to the nearest shopping center and we were on east coast time, exhausted and not about walking that. there are 4 chairs in the lobby, so we sat in 2 of them and fell asleep waiting for our room. There was an older couple in the same boat- they went to the empty restaurant and waited. We were told there is a gym, and there is not- the restaurant is only open sometimes and no one is ever around to tell you if it is or not. The food is ridiculously overpriced and odd- i ordered chicken parm and there was no marinara on it- looked like vodka sauce, but i don’t know. burnt bread - cost me 29 bucks. Got a mixed greens salad with tomatoes and greens and it was 16 dollars, out of desserts except for chocolate lava cake and i’ve yet to see it open for breakfast at all. The servers like to hide in the kitchen and hang out bc they want to leave the table as fast as possible to go do whatever it is they’re doing when the restaurant is empty, which is always bc it looks like no one works there- which is how they like it. Our room is ok but noisy. It’s street side on Olive ave which is a super busy street and the traffic here is consistent and it is loud loud loud in this room- troubles falling asleep. Issues with towels and washcloths being replenished and provided but housekeeping does come in and make beds every day and remove trash and old towels- they just don’t put new ones in. The front desk staff comes off kind of clueless like they have no use what is going on or what’s in the area and they are not particularly polite or helpful. If i had to do all over again, I would stay someplace else.- Burbank is pretty though, just keep in mind, you’re gonna Uber everywhere bc the shuttle doesn’t go anywhere but Burbank. and even then they’ll tell you the don’t have room for you and not give a F about it. There was also a lady in the lobby losing her mind bc she had just checked in and her room was filthy. So, find some place else.

Went so many places and this one is the Worst experience that i ever had no customer service at all management was so disappointing can’t help you when in situation and you need manager support

We booked this hotel months in advance for our LA family trip, everything was confirmed and paid for. We showed up excited after a long day of travel, and the front desk acted like we didn't exist. When we told them we had a reservation, they said there was no record of our payment and basically told us to pay again or leave. It was late. My whole family was exhausted. We had proof of everything, and they still turned us away. We ended up at a motel far away, and the trip was ruined. worst part? We still haven't gotten our money back. Do not book here.

The Best Upscale Hotel in Burbank. The coast burbank is a phenomenal exceptionally clean four star Hotel. The shuttle service that is complementary to and from Warner Bros and Universal Studios and Burbank Airport was amazing. It saved us a lot of cost Ubering within the area. Additionally, the rooms are phenomenally large with amazing upscale showers with rainfall and luxury amenities. This is truly like a five star hotel, but for an affordable price the STAFF you are amazing and well taken care of. kudos to the management team. Also the restaurant all those bistro had amazing breakfast and the bartender Dennis went above and beyond and served us amazing appetizers and dinner. It was definitely worth the price and the atmosphere was very nice. This hotel has a very nice atrium style Italian medieval times look.
