Designed for families and golfers, The Caravelle Resort has an expansive pool deck, a game room, and more.

Located in a quiet hotel zone north of downtown's traffic, families are attracted to this hotel for the pools and beachfront locale. Golfers come year round. Guests have playing privileges at the private Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is less than three miles away. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes (25).

Water attractions include a complex with a 65 by 30-foot pool; a children's Wild Water pool, lazy river, and a 15-person spa tub (Seasonal). A solarium offers year-round 45 by 12-foot pool paired with a four-person spa tub. Outside, another four-person spa tub provides open air soaking.

The Caravelle Resort offers 620 air-conditioned guestrooms, suites and two and three-bedroom condominiums. Most accommodations provide either a full kitchen or a kitchenette that includes a four-burner range, a microwave oven, a full-size refrigerator, a toaster, and a coffeemaker and comes with dishes, flatware, and cookware.

All fees will be collected upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID. Your credit card will be pre-authorized $250 for incidentals.

To minimize contact for the safety of guests and staff, daily housekeeping will not be available.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. ADA-defined service animals are welcome.

Parking: A $12/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. Trailer parking is not available. Golf carts are not permitted. Limit 1 parking pass per unit. Overflow garage parking is for main building guests only.

Check in went very well. Matt the desk reception manager was awesome! Gave clear and concise information regarding pools, services and room details. The suite was located on the 9th floor close to the elevators and the views are fantastic.

This was the worst experience ever. We booked 1442 hosted by Julie. Performed normal inspection as I do for wherever we stay to clean and sanitize. The extra pillows in closest were filthy. Called for replacements and we received 1 pillow. Everything else appeared to be clean but the atmosphere was very dated. In the morning I went to get a spoon from the kitchen drawer and saw a roach. Opened another drawer and saw another roach. Contacted Julie and we were asked if we wanted someone to come and spray for roaches and bring roach traps. Needless to say, we proceeded to find other accommodations and left asap. I was not about to share paid space with roaches or roach spray fumes. There were other issues but they didn’t really matter compared to the roaches. Do not book this unit!!

We stayed across the street in an air B&B but we were told to check in at the resort lobby When we got there they apologized said we didn’t need to stop there our rental was across the street in the caravelle towers Darren. From the Polynesian restaurant was clocking out heard us went and got a luggage trolley and loaded it up for us and took it across the street for us Went up first to make sure our room was in that tower came down and helped put the very full luggage cart on the elevator We had been in the room for a few minutes when he knocked on the door with the sprite we had forgotten on the elevator This was such an act of kindness We had been to our first rental just received our grocery order and noticed the room was disgusting and dirty we quickly made the reservation here my friend had to load everything up as I have a torn rotator cuff After all we had been through he was beyond amazing
