A comfortable desk and seating area are also featured in all rooms at the hotel. Select rooms offer balconies or patios with ocean views.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Chandler’s Restaurant & Lounge is located on-site at Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach. The restaurant offers a menu inspired by locally grown fresh products and features signature cocktails. For convenience, an on-site fitness center and a business center with fax and photocopying services are available at the hotel.

LEGOLAND and Carlsbad Premium Outlets are within five miles of the resort and conveniently accessed by the shuttle service. San Diego Zoo and San Diego International Airport are less than 40 minutes’ drive from this hotel.

This was our 2nd time at this resort and we had such a great time. Staff are always so friendly & helpful. The lobby & restaurant are beautiful. The resort is across the street from the ocean with access down the stairs to a quiet beach. Unfortunately it faces a Rv campsite, but wasn’t a problem for us. The resort is a little farther away from Carlsbad village, but they have bicycles or a shuttle available. Rooms are a little outdated, but clean. We loved our stay & definitely will be back in the future.

It's a very nice hotel with a great view right across from the Ocean! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating to all of our requests. Chandlers was a nice clean restaurant with a good variety of food and drinks. The pool was clean and set up nicely.

Nice quiet area. Great staff and clean facilities. Very nice property with a somewhat private beach just across the 1. Great locals spot for surfing. Enjoyed our views from the Ocean View room we chose. Convenient parking at property as well. We didn’t eat at Chandlers, however had desert which was good.

Our experience was amazing here at Cape Rey Resort. Kevin at the front desk was amazing and gave great customer service as well as Kara the Pool Server was phenomenal. Justin our server at Chandler's restaurant has a wonderful and awesome guest experience personality. Would definitely be back because of these wonderful staff members.
