A comfortable desk and seating area are also featured in all rooms at the hotel. Select rooms offer balconies or patios with ocean views.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Chandler’s Restaurant & Lounge is located on-site at Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach. The restaurant offers a menu inspired by locally grown fresh products and features signature cocktails. For convenience, an on-site fitness center and a business center with fax and photocopying services are available at the hotel.

LEGOLAND and Carlsbad Premium Outlets are within five miles of the resort and conveniently accessed by the shuttle service. San Diego Zoo and San Diego International Airport are less than 40 minutes’ drive from this hotel.

Great location I heard the gym and it was very nice. Clean had good equipment and I had a good workout. Breakfast can be a little faster though. Some people might be in a hurry for breakfast but I understand that’s just flow related. …………………….. good stay

I am a regular guest at Cape Rey Resort and Spa, calling it my Home Away From Home. I visit two to three time a year for a week to two week. I experience the same room on the third floor overlooking the pool and oceans. The staff is friendly and caring. My daughter and I finally decided to try a massage in the Ocean Crest Spa. A beautiful facility and the two masseuses, Tammy and Wendy. They were fabulous. We will make this a ritual. I also enjoy coffee pours with Thomas Lee, General Manager, on the balcony a couple of times during my visit. The restaurant, Chandlers, under the direction of Executive Chef, Charles Skipsey, is a 5 star to me, especially in his providing menu accommodations for my daughter and my diets. Chef Charles even has a garden for fresh herbs. Back in November for two weeks. Looking forward to it.

Everything was great! Location, proximity to the beach, close to so many dining options, and the resort amenities made the week a great choice. Our two year old loved the pool, and it was built with all swim levels in mind. The walk in makes it a great pool to get her comfortable. We also enjoyed evenings by the firepit watching the sunset, and having a couple cocktails from the bar. The restaurant had a great selection for a short stay, something for the whole family, and wasn't overpriced for what was served. Overall, I would highly recommend.
