"Caesars Palace, disapointed"

I was very much looking forward to staying at Caesars Palace. After paying for an upgrade upon arrival to Agustus tower with fountain view the room was disappointing. It was rundown, needs upgraded, the bed was not comfortable, the carpet along the window was loose for about a foot from the window (video taken), dumb mini bar was too close to edge I was afraid our stuff on the desk was going to bump it.

"First-time visitor, excellent customer service!"

I just checked into Caesars Palace for a conference, and as a first-time visitor to Las Vegas, I was honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed walking in. The hotel is massive, beautifully designed, and full of energy—it really lives up to its reputation and feels like an experience in itself. What truly made my arrival special, though, was Cody at the concierge desk. He was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. He took the time to answer my questions, guide me through the check-in process, and make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. His calm and friendly approach made a big difference and turned what could have been a stressful start into a genuinely pleasant one. Thank you, Caesars Palace, for such an impressive and vibrant place to stay—and especially thank you, Cody, for such a warm and thoughtful welcome.

"LITERAL SCAM AND RUDE!"

I typically don’t write negative reviews, but this one I had to. Not because of the rooms or hotel or casino, but because of the fraudulent billing and the rudeness of the staff and customer service people. Short story: we were charged for “upgraded rooms” when I did not request them nor was I told of this when we checked in. Long story: I wanted to take my family who was visiting from out of town to the strip for a one night vacation. I booked three regular rooms all through an online app and paid for the basic room charges not including the resort fees. When I checked in everything seemed to go well. I gave them my card for incidentals and a hold was placed on my card for each room. There was absolutely zero mention of there being an additional charge for any of the rooms. In fact, the front desk person explicitly told me there was just the resort fee and late checkout fee (at 4pm, which I had requested) for each room…nothing else. I later checked my card and there were six transactions, three for $1.00 (just checking the card I assume) and one for $163 and two for $275. I thought it was a bit odd why there were different amounts but I didn’t think much of it as the lady at the desk had explained everything to me at check in…or so I thought. My wife and daughter and I stayed in one room, and my family in the other two rooms. Overall, the hotel rooms and casino and amenities were all nice. No complaints there other than a rude staff member…which was really bad. But again, I wouldn’t write a bad review just for that. When I went to checkout the next day, I got to the front desk and it was packed. So I went to my email for the express checkout and clicked on the button to checkout. I assumed that because all three rooms were under my name that it would check all three out at the same time. However, on my way back to our room to return the hotel keys, I got a email with an invoice. I looked at the email and it was only the $163 charges for our room. The two other rooms that my family was staying in were not checked out. I thought this was odd, as all three rooms were under my name and I had only received one email. So I figured that by checking out it meant checking out for all three rooms. Not so. When I got up to the room to drop off the keys I dialed zero on the hotel phone and spoke to a person after a few prompts. I asked them about the status of the other rooms, and they said they had to charge my card for an additional amount before checking them out. I asked why and they started to explain that I owed money for additional charges on the other two rooms. Then we got disconnected…or she hung up on me I’m not sure. I called back and got another person on the line. I told them again about the checkout situation and then asked them about the billing. That’s when she told me that I needed to pay more money because of the upgrade charge….I was baffled. I told her that I didn’t ask for an upgraded room nor were we told of any upgrades. Silence from her. I asked her why we would be charged additionally for an upgraded room when we didn’t ask for one. And for the record, this is my and my family’s first (and last) time staying here so we have no idea what a basic vs. upgraded room looks like. No answer from her. At this point it’s late and my baby daughter is fussy and my wife is texting me from downstairs asking where I am and what is taking so long (because I’ve been on the phone with them for some time now). I asked again and she really just said that she didn’t know but the room charges are there and that we are responsible for the amount. Now, we are talking a few hundred dollars here, so it’s not a trivial amount of money. I was so fed up with the whole experience that I just said whatever and they charged the card. I had to get off the damn phone because I’m not going to sit and argue with this lady forever while my wife and baby daughter are standing downstairs by themselves waiting to go home. Unbelievable. To add to this, I still have not received a receipt from the other two rooms. They never got emailed to me. Curious??? Possibly because they would show the upgraded room charges that I didn’t ask for? TLDR: it’s a scam! Don’t stay here!!!

Had a stop over in #lasvegas to see #cyndilauper at #caesarspalacelasvegas #colosseumticket. Got tickets for my birthday to see #cyncity. We stopped over in #lasvegas JUST for this event. I obviously had a ticket into this high security event. 🙄 It’s not like I can sneak in with my cane 🦯. Got picked out of several people exiting the restroom by an usher demanding my ticket. Had to call my wife before that usher kicked me out. 😡Luckily, the usher who saw me leave sorted it out. If you go to see Cyndi Lauper, stay at another hotel. Unfortunately, she has residency at this crappy hotel. IT IS NOT DISABILITY OR LGBT FRIENDLY, which is kind of ironic that Cyndi’s residency is at such a bigot hotel. FYI: hotel prices are ridiculous, so is airfare. If you’re just flying in for an event, it’s better to fly in and fly out to another city. DO NOT VISIT CAESARS PALACE. On the bright side: I screamed “I love you Cyndi!” And guess what? She said she loves me too 🥰😍🥰 Dream come true 🤗 Welp…..off to a more friendly city! 🌆 #caesarspalace #CaesarsRewards #CaesarsRewards #lgbtqia #lgbtqcommunity #nurses #discrimination #EEOC #EqualOpportunityEmployer #equalitymatters #disabilityawareness #disabilityrights #DisabilityInclusion #harassment #hawaii #YouMessedWithTheWrongNurse ASA808
