"The Bilmar 1950’s vibe with modern features. Love love"

This was our second trip to the Bilmar and the customer service was amazing. We asked for a propane tank for the fire pit and before we got to our room they had it replaced. Highly recommend Sloppy Joes reasonably priced, excellent customer service and great food. Our beachfront room was spectacular, walking right onto the beach. We look forward to our next visit to the BIlmar

We love this place! My wife made her 1st vacation to this resort in 1965 with her grandfather when she was 11. she is now 72. i think she has been here for vacation over 50 times, we figure. I have been vacationing with her for 30 years. will be staying here again this February , and know it will again be a wonderful time. Reasons why we always come back are, staff attitude, cleanliness, and location for great food and entertainment. stay here when at Tresure Island. you will love it also !!

Our room was small but comfortable. We wished we would have upgraded to a room with a deck. The ocean view was magnificent. We only spent one night. Then onto Tampa.

Overall the price value of this stay was not acceptable. Th negative aspects of this stay far out weigh the positives. Positives 1. View - Room with Balcony Gulf Front, 6th floor was great. Room 643 2. Front Desk Staff - Very good and responsive to calls and questions 3. Pool Staff - Friendly and helpful 4. Linen, Terry and Bed good quality 5. Use of bicycles was nice Negatives 1. Room keys did not work when arriving at room. Long walk walk back to front desk and get keys reprogrammed. Lobby is in a separate building 2. Bathroom Lighting very dark 3. Reading light on headboard near entry door burned out 4. Toilet not clean 5. Mildew throughout tub/shower 6. Bath amenities watered down and poor quality 7. Had to run water in room for 15 minutes to get hot water 8. Sink stopper would not hold water in tub 9. Housekeeping stay over service was not good, basically made bed, fresh towels, no cleaning. One out of two elevators working, was told one elevator was out of service for over 5 days. No out of order sign, just one red cone 10. Resort Fee cost and value is not good 11. Cost of room, tax and resort fee for two nights was almost $600 We are a very well traveled couple and would gladly pay this much or more for a quality product. Also in the hotel management for 40 years. Suggestions: 1. Give your Maintenance person customer training. His interaction with us regarding the hot water was terrible. No introduction, no greeting, no apology. Just excuses. 2. Add lighting to the bathroom 3. Clean toilet and bathroom Overall: The hotel has potential and with proper attention to details can be better
