We are Best Western Diamond members. We've traveled to many Best Western Plus hotels. The pros and cons: The pros: Friendly staff Clean well appointed rooms Fantastic gym The very best selection of breakfast items of all the Best Westerns we've visited in Utah and Arizona. This spread includes: bagels, cream cheese, Splenda, various fruits, Waffle makers, whole and low-fat milk, omelets, cereals, etc. Centrally located near the heart of downtown Page, AZ. Good pool and Jacuzzi. There is one kind staff member in the dining area whose professionalism exceeds expectations. The cons: Very small dining area, which becomes congested with tour buses. It gets so bad that one has to take their food to their room, eat standing up, go outside in the cold, or eat with their plates on their laps on the three couches in the lobby area. There are other staff members in the dining area who will bark at you and carry a bad attitude along with them. Analysis: If there are no tour buses, this will be one of your best stays at a Best Western Plus. If there are tour buses, this can be one of your worst stays at a Best Western Plus. The key is one staff member who is an angel. Hopefully shes there when you stay there.

"Rude check in"

The hotel was nice, rooms clean, but the front desk check-in was horrible. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 o’clock, but the rooms were not ready due to shortage of staff. That was fine and understandable but when we came back at 5 o’clock to check into our room the front desk clerk was rude and belittling, when she gave us our keys, she slammed it on the front desk without even telling us our room number. It was unacceptable behavior and I will never stay at a best western again.

"Don't do it!"

Absolutely, hands down, the worst experience at a Best Western Plus and we have been platinum members for years. The front desk staff made an error at check-in regarding our status and were borderline rude when we tried to correct it. They also accidentally assigned our room to someone else and the other guests opened the door on us in the room. (Sort of difficult to imagine how they thought the room was unoccupied with a hang tag on the door outside advertising there was a pet in the room. 😳) The room itself was really disappointing. It was small and looked barren. The cover on the bed was not even a bed spread. No coffee maker. Furnishings looked like they were from a going out of business sale at Goodwill. The diverter in the shower was broken so a dribbly shower was what we got. The TV didn't work either. We raised the issue three times to reception before it was finally addressed and they still couldn't fix it. Although the room was comped because of all the issues we had, this experience will stay with us unforgettably. There are other better options in Page; don't settle for this one. We certainly won't be staying here again.

Good hotel nearby all shops and restaurants as well as Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam. Staff was mostly very nice. There was a mid up with our room resulting in one day of it not being made despite the lady asking if it needs to be made. Breakfast was soso.

The room AC made a terrible noise all night. The breakfast was terrible. The coffee maker was out of order. And I had to use the kiosk to check in while 4 ladies sat behind the desk and chatted about their tough day. Avoid this hotel at all cost. There are other options available in town.

Showers/tubs in 2 rooms didn’t drain leaving us in ankle deep water. A/C was so loud no one slept. It was in a god location on way from Utah to Grand Canton. Rooms are clean and free breakfast was adequate. Typical breakfast of waffles, eggs and coffee.

"The worst experience ever"

Perhaps the worst hotel (equal to a motel 6), experience that we have had. The bed sheets had stains, sheets had hair, the breakfast was like motel 6’s (at least what motel 6 has 20 years ago), the coffee cups don’t have lids. The water fountain on 2nd floor had a broken filter.

Some reviewers seemed to have some problems with the property, but I travel a lot and thought that everything was good--clean, well-maintained, comfortable bed, quiet, etc. Breakfast was fine (except could also use a less-sweet, non-kids cereal like granola or raisin bran). Front desk people were nice. Room was quite large. Would stay again for sure.

Hotel is dated; however, our room was clean and spacious. Staff was attentive and courteous. I appreciate the front desk calling after check-in to ensure everything was good with the room. The location was ideal. Good value and we recommend.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. You can get complimentary water and coffee/tea/hot water any time in the lobby. There is a very nice heated pool that we had usually for ourselves. Lot's of privacy, loundry to use etc, small fitness room. We like the location a lot (close to Antelope Canyon, Clen Canyon, Horseshoe Bend etc.). It was a good place to rest and enjoy some hiking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some restaurants nearby.

"Best western deal"

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was more than just Continental, they had eggs, sausage and pancakes. Would recommend staying here, price was off season so a good deal. Great night slept for a discount rate. Staff was friendly and respectful.

Traveling with a dog, then this is the place to stay. Wonderful off leash park next to airport. The rooms are very nice. Breakfast is everything you need to start your day. Good location with plenty of restaurants close. Recommend the Grand Canyon Brewery & Distillery.

"Worst Experience Ever—Turned Me Off from Best Western Entirely"

Literally as bad as it gets. Bottom of the barrel. Not only would I never stay HERE again. But this experience has turned me off from the entire Best Western brand moving forward. Long story short: After a long day of hiking, we arrived exhausted, only to be hit with, “We have no hot water. You can cancel or take a 50% discount.” When I asked why they didn’t notify me in advance, they claimed, “It’s been out for two days, and we couldn’t reach you because you booked through a third party.” Except I booked directly. Their response? “Well, we didn’t have your phone number.” Spoiler: It’s right there in my account with them. I asked if they could rebook me at the BW up the road, and they said, “No, but you can.” Wow, thanks. With no other options available last minute, we reluctantly took the discount. Check-in was painfully slow. Staff was the rudest and most disrespectful I’ve ever encountered. Room was dirty, half the amenities didn’t work. The whole place felt run-down and neglected. I would literally stay in a tent before ever setting foot in this place again. Avoid at all costs. One star only because zero isn’t an option.
