"UNACCEPTABLE: $3,300 held hostage for a PREPAID stay! Financial negligence."

I am writing this to warn any business traveler considering this hotel. I stayed for 5 nights (Feb 1st - Feb 6th) for a business trip. My stay was 100% PREPAID by my company before my arrival. Despite this, the front desk placed two massive authorization holds on my personal credit card: one for $2,800 and another for $500. This is a total of $3,300 blocked for a stay that was already paid for! It has been days since I checked out, and these funds are still 'pending,' effectively freezing my credit limit and causing significant financial distress. This is not just a standard 'incidental deposit'; this is gross negligence and a total lack of respect for the guest’s financial security. If you are a business traveler, BEWARE: they will drain your credit card limit regardless of your prepaid status. I am still waiting for a manual release of these funds. Absolutely unprofessional. I will be reporting this to Marriott Corporate and ensuring my company never books this property again.

"Absolutely do not stay here. This is a motel and is not worth the time or the money."

This is a full on motel. The lobby smells like cigarettes and the rooms are so beat up and disgusting they might as well have gotten the furniture from the local DMV. The staff is rude and they will refuse to let you speak to a manager and they hang up on you when you call. For $600 a night you can stay at a nicer place and not whatever this Marriott is disguising itself as.

"DO NOT STAY HERE! Expect to Change Your Own Sheets and be Ignored"

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel literally expects you to change your own sheets, and will refuse to let you speak to a manager 20 days straight and counting. (I stayed there for 5). All documented - including that we are expected to change our own sheets. This is a horrible place. Stay at the Motel 6 instead - it is classier.

Great location ! Easy to get to the beach which is across the street. Nice bartender. Rooms typical ACMarriott. Small closet. Have to keep clothes in suitcase, no drawers. Balcony needs some cleaning/maintenance. Hotel is clean, safe area. Multiple eateries in the area.
