After you visit the Wisconsin book a trip on the Victory Rover. The trip takes you past the many ship builders doing work on current military ships and concludes by sailing past the navel shipyard. If there are aircraft carriers in dock, they are amazing to see.

Dear Isis –
Old Ironsides got her famous nickname during War of 1812, not from George Washington. He passed in 1799. The nickname came from crew during sea battle with Brit frigate HMS Guerriere.
