When is the L.A. Marathon?

The Los Angeles Marathon is set to take place on Sunday, March 17 2024.

“What time does the los angeles marathon start, you may ask.  Athletes in wheelchairs will kick off the event at 6:30 AM. Shortly after, at 6:40 AM, the professional female athletes will take their positions at the starting line. All the rest, which includes the professional men and other participants, will follow close behind, commencing their race at 7:00 AM. The parking lots and security checkpoints will begin operations early, at 3:00 AM to be precise, so timely arrival is advised to avoid any last-minute rush.

How Can I Register for the L.A. Marathon?

Make your way to the official McCourt Foundation website to register. There, you’ll be able to select from five distinctive categories, each offering its own merits. Upon completion of your registration, you’ll be the proud receiver of:

From the confines of the barriers around Dodger Stadium, you can cheer on the athletes as they tread onto Vin Scully Avenue. The exhilaration culminates near the finish line, where you have access to viewpoints on either side of Avenue of the Stars, and toward the south on Santa Monica Boulevard.
